Do you offer smaller sessions?
I offer seasonal mini sessions throughout the year. These sessions are held on specific dates and offered at a discounted rate. Please follow my Instagram and Facebook pages in order to stay up to date on mini session announcements!
How many photos will we receive?
Each package has a specified photo count, mini sessions typically include 5 photo downloads and full sessions include 15 photo downloads. I tend to overshoot and then I over-edit and will upload at least twice as many if not more than the included amount. You are then able to choose which photos you would like (the amount included in your session). And don't worry, if you LOVE more then the specified photo count you can purchase additional images or even the complete gallery!
When should we schedule our session?
If there is a specific date you want, whether it's 5 months away or 5 days away, contact me—if it's open it is yours! Mini sessions fill up quickly as do late summer and fall weekends so it is best to contact me ahead of time. And keep in mind that your gallery will take up to 3 weeks to complete so be sure to plan accordingly.
When will we receive our gallery?
You will receive an online gallery link with your images within 3 weeks (depending on the season I photograph your family it can be less time or more time). Sneak peeks are usually posted on social media within a few days.
What if the weather is not suitable for an outdoor session?
If we are unable to have your session due to rain, snow, or any other weather related situation I will work with you to reschedule.
What is the best time to schedule our session?
I recommend scheduling during the last two hours before sunset to provide the best lighting for your session but I know that is not always possible with little one's schedules. I am happy to work with you and provide some locations that will work well during full sun if needed.
Can we bring our dog?
Yes! I love when families bring their pup, I just ask that you bring an extra person along to take care of the dog.
Can we post our pictures on social media?
Absolutely!! Once I send you the images, you can use them however you choose. I just ask that you please do not edit or alter the images because I have already spent my time editing them for you. Also, if you give me photo credit when sharing them I'll love you forever!
Do you have a studio?
Nope! All of my sessions take place on-location, whether it be your home, a favorite park, or a downtown location, we will find the perfect spot for you! The best locations are ones that provide plenty of natural light.
Do you photograph weddings?
At this time I do not offer wedding coverage but I would be happy to refer you to some other local photographers!
What is in your camera bag?
This is what I bring to my sessions: Canon 5D Mark IV, Sigma 35m, Canon 85m, Canon 135m
Are you registered and insured?
You bet!
